Colour Label Printers

When colour labels are needed, until recently the only and traditional way was to order labels from printing works and use pre-printed labels. It is still good solution when volumes are large and additional information can be printed on one coloured label. However, the market has now appeared the new, four-colour label printer, that can easily print smaller series of four-colour labels.

These printers are good solution if you need to print product specific information on coloured label. For example, the image of the product, in order to facilitate the consumer’s choice when purchasing or according to GHS-standard for chemical warning signs on the product label (*).

These printers can easily print longer label-series since some printers have printing speed up to 300 mm/sec. The printer has a resolution up to 160 dbi witch allows to print proper full-colour labels.

Printers operate on Inkjet printers technology, which requires using the suitable label types. Conventional thermal transfer labels are not suitable for them.

All our offered printers use CMYK four-colour system, where each colour has it’s own ink cartridge.

(*) Our represented Epson printers and in them used DURABrite Ultra ink and PE Matte labels have received maritime transport of chemicals certificate BS5609.
